My Approach

I offer a compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can be your authentic self and receive the support you are looking for. In working together, we can process your past and present life experiences, gain insights and new perspectives, understand your patterns, foster self-compassion and self-acceptance.

I use an integrative, trauma-informed & nervous system-informed approach drawing from: Internal Family Systems (parts work), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Art Therapy, Bibliotherapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness approaches. I am currently training in Somatic Soul-based Trauma Therapy and will be slowly incorporating this into my practice. Further, I am a professional Art Therapist. Creative expression has many benefits and can be a powerful tool for exploration, self-discovery, and expression. No matter what approaches we are using in our work together - there is always a focus on self-compassion and empowerment. Every person is unique, and I love to tailor my approach to your unique needs and goals for therapy, while always working with empathyunderstanding, an open-mind and open- heart.

I work with individuals of various ages, cultures, religions, sexual orientations & relationship types. Whether you are new to exploring counselling or have previous experience working with a counsellor - I am here for you.

About Me

I became aware of my calling to help others at a young age due to my own struggles with my internal and external worlds. It didn't matter if I was in a room full of people.. I always felt alone, and that feeling of aloneness deepened my pain into suffering. I remember thinking to myself: "I want to help others so they don't have to be alone with their pain."

My desire to help others became my guiding light and the reason I am still here today. I have passionately worked towards this calling and have been formally studying the field of psychology and "helping fields" for 8+ years. Although my time in traditional schooling is over, I continue my learning through inspiring trainings, books, podcasts, online research, and deep conversations with those around me.

While on my journey to help others my personal life has been devoted to learning, un-learning, and growing. It is truly my deepest passion and I am so excited to hold space while you engage in your own self-discovery process. I have personal experience of the tough but beautiful cycle of healing - and I'm dedicated and honoured to walking alongside you on your path.

When I'm not in the counsellor's seat, you can always find me: diving deep into a book, listening to podcasts, riding my bike, cooking, painting or anything creative, singing and dancing my heart out, and enjoying any moments of sunshine.
