DEPRESSION

Depression is commonly used as a way to describe feeling down, unhappy, or less satisfaction with life. It can also be a clinical diagnosis with specific symptoms that last throughout the day, everyday, for a minimum period of time. No matter what you are experiencing - Help is available to you and you do not have to suffer alone.

You may be seeking out counselling because you are feeling: emptiness, isolation, less interest in things that used to bring you joy, feeling like you don't want to get out of bed, irritability, feeling stuck or lost in life, hopelessness, dwelling on negative thoughts, fatigue, feelings of worthlessness, or struggling with dark thoughts.

By working together, I can support you with:

  • Uncovering beliefs about self, others and the world

  • Examining patterns of thinking and how those patterns influence your life

  • Increasing self-compassion

  • Fostering resiliency and cultivating your strengths

  • Work on a cognitive, emotional and somatic/body level to create positive change
